8 hours of needle felting.
1 hour of applique.
1 hour of rug hooking.
2 hours of sewing.
30 minutes of knitting.
30 minutes of weaving
30 minutes of crocheting.
2 hours of fussing.
5 hours of driving to N.Y.
30 minutes of picking hay off ( after I dropped it in the horse trailer) heads and faces.
5 minutes of walking very fast to building E to make the deadline for entry.
2 seconds of shock and heartbreak from the words " your too late, the competition is closed."
1 minute of disbelief.
1 minute of pleading.

Congratulations on a well deserved blue ribbon! Your piece is just lovely, a work of art.

I love it! You are so creative! You definitely deserved that blue ribbon!
Congratulations. I understand 1,000 percent why you won the blue ribbon. Can you give a few more details, like what was needle felted in and what was hooked? Did you hook with roving as well as wool? I love it!
That is truly a beautiful piece of art! The judge definitely got that blue ribbon right! I am looking long and hard at adding a Romney to my flock:)
Congratulations!! It was definitely worth all that effort!!
Thanks everyone, I had this idea when I drove home from N.Y. last year. I am such a procrastinator though, that I left it to work on all summer and then got busy three weeks ago. I guess I work best under pressure!;)
You are amazing! Congratulations on your blue ribbon, you certainly deserve it.
I absolutely love it Kelly!
