Poor Pirate... yesterday he had a tumor removed from his hind-end. The surgery went great but unfortunately he has to wear the E-Collar since he pulled out 7 of his 16 stitches and had to be stapled back together this morning.
Being two inches off the ground is not easy wearing one of these things. Everything in his path is scooped into the collar! My husband thought he looked like a martini glass so felted him an olive and he reluctantly posed for this shot ...THE WEENIE MARTINI! :)

Oh poor baby! (But very cute pic!) Extra treats for sure.
Too cute! My brother and sister-in-law have 3 mini doxies and I'm sure she will get a kick out of this picture!
I certainly did! The look on her face says it all! Fortunately our 3 doxies have not needed a collar but they would be just as annoyed! Thanks for posting this great photo. Hope he heals quickly
I love martinis and this photo is a definate 'keeper' for your calendar next year! Meanwhile, it's going up on my fridge. The olive is superb!
OK Kelley, every time I see this pic I laugh till I snort. You really really need to make this into the calendar. I know he's not 'fiber' but martinis & knitting go together on the Woolley Farm, so he's close enough!
